Hello again!
Our #Shoppies retail community has really been built from the idea to be full of our member's input. As such we would really love you to contribute as much or as little as you wish. So, in this brief blog, we write down some top tips for getting involved and connecting with the rest of the cruise retail community...
Shoppies Forum
In the Shoppies Forum, as a member of the Cruise Retail Academy, you can upload your photos and videos of your team's successes in the Sharing #SHOPPIES success category, you can ask questions or give answers to your fellow cruise retail professionals in the #SHOPPIES Q&A category or you can take part in some of the challenges we will be setting in the #SHOPPIES challenges category. Or you can simply like posts that appeal to you or comment on others posts. You can find the Shoppies Forum from our #SHOPPIES page or on the Cruise Retail Academy app.
We will share the best photos and videos onto our Shoppies social media pages on Instagram and Facebook to illuminate the rest of the cruise retail community with your successes. These will also be shared onto our Hall of Fame as well.
2. Write a Blog or an article for our newsletters
Tell us your own story, news or how about something interesting you would like to share. Reach out to us with your idea either on the members chat or by email, and we will share it for you here on our blog page or in our regular newsletters. Or alternatively, you can comment on other blog posts by sharing your thoughts, ideas and suggestions.
3. Come and join our Events
On our What's On page on the website or on the app, you will see all the different events we have coming up. Come and take part and contribute to the different sessions that will be taking place.
4. Chat with us or your fellow members
Members chat is a great way to connect with your fellow professionals and learn more from posts you have seen or blogs you have read. Staying connected is a great way to learn more, develop your skills and get support from the experiences of others in our sector.
5. Stay Tuned for news on Academy+
When we launch the Academy+ later in the year, we will have lots of other exciting ways to contribute, such as our peer support groups, our podcasts and our video libraries.
We are really committed to making this site a really easy way to connect and contribute, so I really look forward to you all taking part and sharing your successes with the rest of the cruise retail community!
